In 1965, the American enemy used air force and commandos to frantically sabotage the North in order to prevent the North from providing support to the Southern people. On June 20, 1965, American planes dropped 6 bombs on Khau Day village (Chieng Hac, Yen Chau) and 20 rockets on Ta Vai bridge. . Starting from here, American aircraft continuously bombarded Yen Chau, but due to good preparation of plans to deal with America's destructive war, Yen Chau entered the war without being surprised. At this time, Ta Vai bridge became a place of fierce fighting between us and the enemy.
